This course further examines how economics, natural systems, and conservation are interrelated. The many forms of pollution as well as types of energy resources are addressed. This course challenges students to consider the impact of lifestyle choices on environmental sustainability.

Students will develop beginning skills in community assessment and health promotion strategies. The course also reflects the advances in population health in the community health field. This course represents the concept that many populations of concern in health programs are not solely defined by geographic location.
