This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to administer Windows Servers. The course covers Server Maintenance, Print and File Services Configuration, Managing Network Services, Server Policy Infrastructure, and Managing Directory Services & Group Policy.

  • Examine and configure DNS protection features.
  • Analyze DNS monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Install configure, manage, and maintain DHCP.
  • Configure the DHCP Relay Agent.
  • Manage DHCP Server Scopes.
  • Implement DHCP fault tolerance.

  • Implement and maintain IP Address Management (IPAM).
  • Manage the DHCP Server with IPAM.
  • Analyze IPAM administration and auditing features.

  • Implement and manage network connectivity and remote access solutions, including Virtual Private Network (VPN), DirectAccess solutions, and Network Policy Server (NPS).
  • Determine configuration requirements to implement a Site-to-Site and a Remote Access VPN.
  • Discuss importing and exporting NPS policies.

  • Implement and manage core and distributed network solutions using Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addressing, Distributed File System (DFS), and Branch Office solutions.
  • Establish network connectivity between IPv4 and IPv6 devices.
  • Create and manage an advanced network infrastructure that supports high performance network solutions and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Describe high performance network monitoring and troubleshooting.
