Course level: Graduate

This course examines health education theories and practices. Learners are given the opportunity to create goals and objectives and apply theories and models of instructional strategies. Learners will create units of instruction for community health settings and populations. Strategies that enhance health education and health promotion for special populations are emphasized.

Create a public service announcement (PSA) aimed at mobilizing the community to take action and facilitate change for a public health issue

Describe strategies to advocate for public health needs of vulnerable populations

Develop key elements of a health education and promotion program for a special population
