Course level: Undergraduate

This course explores research and information gathering methods needed to assess communities, public policy and social welfare. The tenets of public policy are explored and relationships are extrapolated based on systems of welfare, and the real-world context of meeting the needs of communities. Students examine historical perspectives of welfare systems, and basis for use in public policy. (3 credits)
