This course introduces the various components of the corrections system within the criminal justice system. ItÂ providesÂ an overview of corrections, including corrections history and the people, agencies, and organizations whoÂ manageÂ and support convicted offenders. Other topics include policies and procedures, sentencing, community supervision, and rehabilitation ofÂ offenders.
